Amalapuram (BIN – IC): The Convener of United Forum Dr. Boosi Venkatarao made it clear that none of the youths in Ravulapalem conspiracy case are with MLA Jaggi Reddy. The victimized youths are together and staying united. MLA Jaggi Reddy is spreading false information.

On Tuesday, Dr. Venkatarao held a media conference in Amalapuram along with the victims of the Ravulapalem conspiracy case. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the police had filed a conspiracy case against the youths who went to the police station to file a complaint against the person who printed Ambedkar’s portrait on paper plates in Gopalapuram on July 5.

Dr. Venkatarao reminded that two months ago, the High Court  issued an interim order relaxing the conditions of detention imposed on the youths in the case, which had come to the initial conclusion that this was an illegal case. He said that all the associations in the state are supporting the victims’ struggle for justice and we are continuing to mount the pressure on the government along with the legal fight.

Dr. Venkatarao said that in this backdrop, local MLA Jaggi Reddy, who observed that the case is likely to be in our favor, is creating confusion by making false statements with dramatic moves. He alleged that it is another conspiracy to threaten one or two weak people and call them home and announce that everyone has come to his house. He brought the youths facing the conspiracy case before the media. He added that they are fighting tirelessly for their self-respect.

Vemana said that the MLA’s statement is part of the government’s conspiracy and demanded that if the YCP government is remorseful about the illegal case, the government should unconditionally withdraw the case and put the hotel owner who insulted Ambedkar in jail.

Gubbala Srinivas Rao, HRF leader Jogesh, BSP leaders Kandru Venkatesh, Gautam Ashok, Saka Raja Rao, village heads of Gopala Puram, Rally, Pujari Palem Mohan, Mata, Prasad, conspiracy case victims Vasu, Vijay, Sharon Mushindra, Pradeep, Santhosh, Naga Babu and others were present in the program.
