Either the UN can remain a tool of oppression used by the US against the Palestinian people, or it can grant Palestine full statehood.  However, Israel loathes the granting of statehood to Palestine for fear of punishment for gross war crimes and crimes against humanity.  The Nazi-like mass starvation of Palestinians has been a affront to the human race and those who have initiated this blockade and international crime against humanity must be called to account. 

Israeli planners counted the calories necessary to sustain life and then estimated this into truckloads of food.  They then let into Palestine only a fraction of the amount of food they figured to be necessary to live.  Young children are now dying from starvation related diseases.  Combined with the embargo by Israel of medicine like antibiotics and their refusal to travel to allow the sick to hospitals, people literally die at IDF checkpoints hoping to get the medical care that is denied by the Israeli government.  This is a torment that Palestinians endure every day that is hidden by the US media.

The US has provided billions of dollars each year in military aid to Israel.  But even more important than this is the diplomatic cover the US has provided through UN Security Counsel vetoes that have aided and abetted Israeli atrocities.  While the Israeli atrocities are kept from the American media due to Zionist control, even the Israeli media recognizes, debates and criticizes its crimes against Palestinians. 

Israel has broken 65 UN resolutions.  These were resolutions so reasonable and so necessary to stop atrocities and were specifically drawn up to prevent the US from being shamed on the world stage that even the US had to support them after ignoring ethnic cleansing and war crimes against children.  Iraq broke two UN resolutions and was invaded and destroyed with many hundreds of thousands dead.  Yet, Israelis make such a mockery of international law that the supreme organization designed to end war crimes and crimes against humanity has become a corrupt tool of oppression that the Israelis are allowed to hid behind as they turn Palestine into not only an unviable state, but an unlivable hellhole.

Israelis commit atrocities on a regular basis and then goad Palestinians into any act of defiance to use this as a pretext for unleashing its US-armed military to slaughter thousands who are penned into densely populated cantons or trying to survive at aid camps.  It is no lie to acknowledge that the Palestinian people would be better off without the UN providing band-aids to try to ameliorate the suffering of those who have had limbs blown off from IDF artillery barrages that have targeted schools, hospitals, life-sustaining infrastructure and population centers.  In fact, the Israeli government even limits water to the Palestinian population.

How can such atrocities occur under international law?  How can the UN allow itself to be used as a tool of oppression?  As Israel has descended into madness, its politicians have become mad dogs who gain internal political support through Hitler-like politics that promise more suffering, ethnic cleansing and genocide in advancing the Zionist and fascist calls for a “Greater Israel”.

Famous intellectuals and international advocates for justice and humanitarian law, such as Professor Noam Chomsky and Dr. Norman Finkelstein, have bemoaned the harm Israel has done not only to Palestinians, but also to international law, to Israel as a modern state and to the very fabric of the Jewish identity.

What Israel ought to do is conduct an international reconciliation and beg that in exchange for 1967 borders, the world, and Palestinian people in particular, agree to not hold any Israelis responsible for the crimes suffered by the Palestinian people for the last 50 years.  Any other form of justice would demand that the Palestinian people capture Israeli war criminals who would be forced to stand trial as did Nazi war criminals.  It is undeniable that the goal of a great many Zionists is the utter annihilation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip and the extermination of the Palestinian people.  The worst part of this crime is that the rest of the world has had to stand by and watch it perpetrated in slow motion.

This page outline the criticisms made by Israelis, Jews and even Rabbis who fear the harm Zionists have done and seek to continue to do to Israel.

The modern Israeli politicians sell fear, but the fact is the Palestinian people had allowed the Jews to live in Palestine among Muslims for over a thousand years.  Such is the case in Iran.  It was also the case in Iraq under Saddam.  In the case of Jews in Palestine, there was no fascist central government calling for the destruction of Jewish homes and the theft of Jewish land.  Why is it that Palestinians cannot be given the same consideration they extended to the Jews for generations? 

This is a call on the UN to end the apartheid state under which the Palestinians suffer and grant Palestine full UN statehood.  The Israelis were given fifty years to come up with a solution and to date their solution has been one of ethnic cleansing, starvation, torture, murder, war crimes and genocide as they methodically continue their march towards insanity.  How is it the UN can not find the courage to do its job?  The US certainly has no problems identifying and prosecuting war criminals when it advances western interests. 

The true measure of humanitarianism is when you provide justice to those who can do nothing for you or to you, but courage is measured when justice requires that those needing it get provided it no matter the cost.  Considering that a person who litters and then defies a policeman’s authority for that crime can be subject to prison or even death, how is it that the escalation of Israel’s defiance of international law has been allowed to grow with impunity to the point that it executes humanitarian aid workers, crushes peace activists with bulldozers, shoots international protesters in the face with teargas canisters at close range to render them brain dead, attacks hospitals and ambulances, bombs UN schools and UN observers, and uses white phosphorous munitions against schools and areas of dense population where people have been purposely herded into killing fields?  There is simply no other nation in the world that is allowed to commit such crimes except for Israel.  The people of the world call on the UN and the nations of the Non-Aligned Movement to grant Palestinians a home just as the UN gave the Israelis a home.
