War on Iran disastrous scenario: Russia foreign minister

PRESS TV: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has warned against any military attack against Iran, describing it as a “disastrous scenario.”

“Regarding the Iranian issue, we have mentioned on many occasions that the attempts to solve the Iranian nuclear issue through force and launching a strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities could be really dangerous,” Lavrov said during a major annual press conference on Wednesday.

“We really hope that the idea will not be implemented in reality. The majority of the countries of the world stick to this similar approach… and we really hope that we’ll be able to prevent such a disastrous scenario,” he added. MORE AND THE PRESS CONFRENCE HERE
