There is always interval between a movie and visitors always hang out and enjoy the delicacies offered at double cost. Still, they never restrict themselves from buying those expensive snacks. In fact, they enjoy and always take it up sportily. Here the question is, have you ever wondered why do snacks cost so much in movie theaters?

It is the idea that has become an ideal choice for people that they sink into their seats and enjoy eating the buttery popcorn while watching the interesting movie. To run a movie theater, substantial amount of expenditure is associated which includes the salaries of projectionists, concession workers, ushers, ticket sellers, managers, and maintenance crews. So, the money altogether comes from audiences who pay for tickets and food or beverages. Not the entire money comes out of movie tickets, but from the sources like snack stalls. In fact, low price of ticket means more people in theater. So, the theaters reduce the ticket prices and increase the prices of snack food items and drinks. These are some of the reasons for snacks being cost so much in movie theaters.
