Miracle Baby Dies Over a Year After Being Found Alive in a Morgue

Luz Milagros gained the world’s attention in April of 2012 when her parents were paying their last respects in a hospital morgue. A worker opened a draw and the premature Argentinian infant uttered a cry and started stretching, invalidating her death certificate. Luz had been in the refrigerated room for twelve hours.
The little girl had suffered several developmental problems. Her parents, Analia Bouter and Fabian Veron, were in the process of raising money for stem cell treatment in China.
Luz Miagros was recently listed in critical condition at Rosario children’s hospital in Sante Fe province. She passed away Sunday, following cardiac arrest.
