According to sources in the Native Community, as early as 2010, the Government of Canada and British Columbia Treaty Negotiators offered to include the Pacific Rim Resort lands, owned by the English family, in a settlement package with the First Nations in the Tofino area on the West Coast of Canada.
It was shortly after that when the campaign of terrorism began.
The tactics used included, fire, property destruction, death threats, attempted murder, illegal denial of services by the municipal government abuses of power, illegal destruction of property by BC Hydro (a government agency) and much more..

The Natives involved in the negotiations with the Canadian and British Columbia governments are known as the
Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations.
Insiders from the Native community have advised they were asked to keep it a secret allegedly “because if word got out the government was attempting to buy the English Pacific Rim Resort property, the price would go up”.
The First Nations were led to believe that the Government Treaty Negotiators were in legitimate negotiations with the English family to purchase the property at a fair price and appear to have been uninformed whether or not a campaign of terrorism would be used to keep the price down
In early 2013, through a corrupted court process the property was sold, at an artificially created deep discount price, to agency of the British Columbia Government namely Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of British Columbia Investment Management Corporation the company set up in 1988 by the British Columbia government to manage civil service investment funds for all civil servant in the province including those with the District of Tofino who illegally cut off services to Jack English and his family owned resort, Pacific Rim Resort located on 200 acres of waterfront property next door to the jewel in Canada’s national park system, the Pacific Rim National Park.
