Author & Artist of Kentucky and President of the ACE Folklife Society Dies.
Thomas Ray Morris, 56 of Beaver Dam passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born May 16, 1959 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Thomas Earl and Alta Marie Jones Morris. He was a United States Army Veteran and he attended New Hope Church. Thomas was a truck driver, an Author, an Artist and the owner of Tom’s Produce.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Morris of Beaver Dam and three sisters, Alta Faye (Tab) Arnold of Beaver Dam, Shirley Arnold of Hartford and Deborah (Jerry) Dockery of Hartford.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 7, 2015 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Les Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery in Horse Branch. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to the Thomas Ray Morris Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
