Battleships, aircraft carriers, minesweepers, and submarines from 25 nations are converging on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in an unprecedented show of force as Israel and Iran move towards the brink of war.

Beginning on the 15th of September, 25 nations will participate in the largest military simulation the region has ever seen. This show of force will be conducted in and around the vital Strait of Hormuz, which is only 21 miles wide at its most narrow point. Approximately 35% of the world’s oil passes through the portion Iran oversees, and the exercises are expected to last 12 days.
