Why Iranian Extremists Believe that Now Is the End Times? Here Is Why!
There are a considerable people in Iran who believe that the End times is coming and it is very near. Their belief is mostly based on the prophecies about end time and their similarities to current events and people. I should emphasize that I’m not suggesting their assumption is right or wrong, I am simply showing you their points of view on the subject.
Here is the list of similarities:
1. Seyyed Khorasani = Seyyed Ali Khamenei
There are several prophecies in Shia about a person who will come from the land of Khorasan in Iran, become leader of Iran and will ease the way for coming of Islamic Messiah (Mahdi). He will have a bright face and a mark on his right hand.
Several Shia Scholars believe that this man is Iran’s current Supreme Leader, Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Mr Khamenei is also from Khorasan, he is leader of Iran and his right hand is disabled.
2. Shoaib Ibn Salih = Mahmood Ahmadinejad
Along with Seyyed Khorasani, A man will come from City of Rei in Iran who would help Seyyed Khorasani and become his commander in chief.
Mahmood Ahmadinejad is also from city of Rei and for some time he was the most trusted person of Iran’s Leader. Also noted that he will have an ugly face (No argue there).
3. Sefiani = ISIS
Sefiani is a person who is prophesied to create a war in Shaam (Iraq) and will rule the area to stop coming of Mahdi. He will be from West and he will create several wars to seize the area. He will be ruthless and will be finally defeated by Mahdi. (There are some descriptions of this person which are unrelated.)
ISIS is mostly populated by western people, they are ruthless, they are against Shia world and they are in Iraq and Syria.
4. Yemeni Movement = Yemen civil war
There will be a movement against rulers of Yemen. Their leader will be Seyyed Yemeni and they will be defeated first, but later they will take over the country and continue to Saudi Arabia. They will merge with Seyyed Khorasani Army in Iraq.
Recent events in Yemen and rise of Shia people could be equalized to this prophecy. Iran’s regime is behind this movement, probably trying to fulfill this prophecy and with this in mind, I won’t be surprised to see that these people will be funded again and rise after their recent loses.
This was a short list of the most important prophecies concerning Shia’s End Times. All of these prophecies are supported by Shia Hadith, meaning they are not believed by majority of Islamic population (Sunnis). Also Quran doesn’t even mention coming of Mahdi and mostly talks about natural disasters like huge earthquakes at the End Times.
It should be noted that I simply dismissed some weak descriptions.
