Haven’t heard of it, but I haven’t checked with my sonar friends of late either…….
I have heard of the 100mph adcap torpedo, a nasty piece of work that is. Thankfully what you can’t hear, you can’t shoot, and I’m reasonably sure the Isralie DE ( diesel electric ) boats are on the quite side of silent. At least they were twenty five years ago when I was ears in water ( USN OT2 ) , and boats don’t get less quiet as the years go by.
That and more hell than happened ( a middle strike on Russian supplied municitions and missiles going to Hezbolha ) would have taken place as Israel seems to operate on the theory, we don’t get even we get ahead.

I would love to see an enlarged Israel! She needs more room to breathe. This certainly would be a breath of fresh air if she could enlarge itself by twice its size.
Arabs don’t need the land. They have plenty of it. Why not give it to Israel and spare a war where they would lose anyway?
What a splendid kosher idea! Let them take all that beautiful land (well, someone must have kept Murphy’s Law at bay there and made it beautiful enough to covet – probably those dumb Muslims who really couldn’t know what they were doing). Waste the trash inhabiting it, and then, when they run out of places to colonise, offer them your house, garden and barbeque, too, all the better to cook you on! Don’t worry because then they could even send a few nukes and flares to light your fire while you romance with them and they cuddle you to… oblivion. Give this wo/man the top prize!

I just watched an alternative video concerning a nuclear attack on Syria. In the video there is an extremely large explosion on what appears to be a mountain or hillside. When the weapon is detonated it gives the appearance of creating a large mushroom type of cloud which can be seen through the light provided by the explosion itself. I am writing this to say that it WAS NOT a nuclear explosion. Looking at the video it quite clear the explosion is only a large conventional type of weapon. If it were a nuclear weapon, even a small battlefield tactical nuclear weapon, the damage would have been much much greater. In addition the camera taking the video would have been blinded due to the extremely bright flash of a nuclear weapon, regardless of its size. What the commentator refers to as lightning inside the explosion is actually other weapons being detonated, either on the surface of the hill or slightly above the surface. Since the attack was on a Syrian weapons research center it is more likely they are secondary explosions of smaller weapons housed inside the compound. Nuclear explosions have a completely different type of reaction when detonated. First, the fireball would be a brilliant white, likely blinding anyone looking at it at the time it explodes, as well as “blinding”, or burning the lens of any camera pointed in it its direction. When I mention the damage would have been much much greater it means the individuals filming the event would have been flattened and killed along with any any other structure or living creatures within a five to six mile radius of the explosion. This video was likely a large conventional bomb, perhaps a ten thousand pound or twenty thousand pound bunker busting weapon. I hate to burst others bubbles but that is the case here… sorry.
