Republican Donald Trump refused to commit to accepting the election result and ceding to his rival if he loses, in the third and final presidential debate against Democratic Hillary Clinton early Thursday in Las Vegas.
“I will tell you at the time,” he told moderator Chris Wallace. For days he has claimed the election is “rigged.”
Clinton said Putin wants Trump elected because he wants a puppet as US president. He called her a liar. She called him the most dangerous candidate in US election history. He accused the media of poisoning people’s minds and said Clinton should not have been allowed to run for president.
When asked about her dream of open trade and open borders in a paid speech to a Brazilian bank. Clinton said she was talking about energy policy.
He said the women who accused him of sexual harassment were in it for the fame and Clinton campaign stooges.
The two candidates repeated their known positions on a range of issues. Both looked tired and ready to pack in the increasingly bitter personal campaign which ends with the final elections on Nov. 8.
Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
