DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. February 21, 2017, 10:11 AM (IDT)

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu flew to Australia Tuesday after talks in Singapore with President Tan Keng Yam and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on strengthening economic and technological cooperation between the two countries and joint projects for assisting various African nations. In Sydney, Netanyahu is to call on Governor-General Peter Cosgrove and hold talks with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. They will hold a press conference together. The two prime ministers will attend an event at Sydney’s Great Synagogue and on Thursday, they will visit the Moriah College Jewish day school. On Friday, Netanyahu is scheduled to meet opposition leader Bill Shorten.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
