DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. February 13, 2017, 9:33 AM (IDT)

Before taking off for Washington at Monday noon, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called a security cabinet meeting to go through the issues and working papers he is taking with him for his meeting with President Donald Trump Wednesday. Sources close to Netanyahu disclosed that, when the two leaders met in New York shortly after Trump’s election, the prime minister presented the argument that the Palestinians were their own obstacle to statehood, to which the president replied that Ramallah was ready for concessions.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
