DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. March 16, 2017, 5:10 PM (IDT)

Nadia Schadlow, a US foreign and defense policy expert, has been named as deputy assistant to the president for national security strategy. The position on the staff of President Donald Trump’s national security advisor, Gen. H.R. McMaster, is responsible for preparing the US National Security Strategy, the administration’s blueprint for pursuing its global interests. Schadlow, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, was a senior officer at the Smith Richardson Foundation and consulted for the Department of Defense.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
