% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

On 7/10/2013, Fukushima Diary reported “[Strategy shift ?] JP major companies sponsor European film fes to award honest Fukushima documentary “A2″” [URL]

From the interview of Fukushima Diary with the film director Mr. Ian Thomas Ash, none of the media companies covered the film and winning the award.

On 5/13/2013, the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan held a press conference for the documentary A2.

They had screening, Q&A section and the speech for 2 hours and 88 people including media related people attended.

The former Japanese Ambassador to Switzerland Mr. Mitsuhei Murata attended as well. The Q&A section was led by Japanese journalist Tetsuo Jimbo.

Nearly one month later, the film won Nippon vision award.

However, as long as the film director Mr. Ian Thomas Ash is informed, none of the press who attended the conference made an article to cover the movie nor winning the award.
