[Possible hidden tank leakage ] All β level rising in another drain

High level of radiation is measured in the far drain from the leaking tank. It suggests there is another unreported leakage near the drain.

From Tepco’s report, 920,000 Bq/m3 of all β nuclide (including Strontium-90) was measured in a drain on 8/31/2013.

No significant contamination was found in this area on 8/21/2013.

The measurement point is on the opposite side of the 300m3 leakage. It’s closer to another tank groups.

On 8/31/2013, Fukushima Diary reported four more leakages, but Tepco stated there was no continuous leakage around this drain.

Une haute radioactivité est relevée dans un canal éloigné de la citerne qui fuit. Ça suggère qu’il y a une autre citerne qui fuit et non signalée à proximité de ce canal.

Selon le rapport de Tepco, 920 000 Bq/m³ de β-nucléides (dont du strontium 90) sont relevés ce 31 août 2013 dans un canal d’évacuation.
Au 21 août 2013, aucune contamination grave n’a été trouvée dans cette zone.
Le point du relevé est du côté opposé de la fuite des 300 m³. Il est plus proche d’un autre groupe de citernes.
