The only chance all of us have is that we start to put heavy pressure on the governments of the world to stop fighting each other and work together to solve the Fukushima problem. This is a trillion dollar cleanup and it will take all the best resources of Japan, China, Europe, Australia, the US, and Russia to get this under control. Until that happens, the planet will continue to increase with radiation. Now that we have homeless Japanese on the scene at Fukushima, it should be obvious to everyone that Fukushima should be seized by the international community so the real control of the situation can finally begin. If something does not happen in the immediate future (like in the next 12 months), it is my prediction that China will start a war with Japan. I believe that Fukushima is just an irritant to China as their collective environment deteriorates. If Japan cannot get its act together with Fukushima (which is not going to happen), I would be supportive of China invading Japan and seizing the Fukushima site. I have lost all faith in the US government or Obama being relevant at all when it comes to Fukushima, as their only purpose is to help save the reputation of the nuclear power industry even if we all die or suffer health ailments along the way.
