This is more a growing letter to my great-grand children than the editor, assuming that they will be there one day ... "If they can't control your mind, they can't control you."

MESSAGE IN A (VIRTUAL)  BOTTLE FOR MY GREAT GRAND CHILDREN

My Dear great grand children.

The hardest audience to write for is one that does not exist yet, but I think this has to be done, even though it’s from the viewpoint of an ignorant observer:

What makes it easier is the fact that most of what I’m saying you kids should already know: That the western world up to the early 2000s was owned by bankers who simply created money ’out of thin air’, lent it to governments with compounded interest, broke them, their people (and a lot of their souls), taking the spoils – their wealth and property – just in passing and no one could believe it.

I just hope it isn’t happening to you, because for the last three hundred years, it’s been a regular thing.

And what you also may not know is that they did this regular ‘transfer of wealth’ thing six times since their ‘South Sea Bubble’ burst in 1720.

It was well planned, too. The guys who do this, the money lenders, had been getting thrown out of every country they set up in because they interfered with the ruler’s economy, not just the merchant and working classes’.

It wouldn’t normally worry the ruling classes (they work on resource-based economies), but how do you raise an army from citizens rioting over property stolen because the owners couldn’t pay the interest on the interest of their loans?

The Romans tried their best with the ‘In Duplum Rule’, which stopped interest from pushing debtfurther than double the original amount borrowed, period. But the lenders kept creeping in the back door behind the law, pushing debt to many multiples of the original loans and so breaking the borrowers.

In my day, of course, they were rioting over ‘austerity’ because the ruling classes by then were in cahoots with the money lenders and knew what was coming. So they prepared large armies and set up camps to hold unruly citizens.

How were they in cahoots?

That little ‘economic anomaly’ called Tulip Mania was the clue: around fifty years after the first stock exchange was created in 1602 the lenders put on a little preview for the Crowned Heads of Europe to show how easy it is to take the rich merchants and their greedy customers to the cleaners one whole country at a time.

(A good guide for rich people through the times from the 1980 Japanese Crash and beyond was ‘The Great Reckoning’ by James Dale Davis and Lord Rees-Mogg. It outlined expected economic patterns and placed markers for investors, based on the collective experience of our orchestrated boom bust economic history.)

But as usual, the little guy didn’t even get thrown a life jacket: this time, ‘they’ ripped him in a national sub prime scam (the practice ground was Africa in the 80′s) and right after that just cooked some more papers and foreclosed on his neighbors’ houses – even on some that were fully paid up!

And then the malls lost tenants and the whole thing spiraled out of ‘control’. But of course it was fully controlled.

So everyone ‘knew’ that there was something very wrong, but couldn’t work it out other than discovering that trust has a lousy downside when it’s misplaced.

There were plenty of clues – probably still are – movies and shows and books all pointing out the obvious, at the time telling us that there are good people one this planet who just can’t fight evil, but who can point it out, people like Gerald Celente, Lew Rockwell, Ron “don’t raise the debt limit!” Paul and other observers of that Grand Theft, Planet that was going on.

A really great ‘clue’ was the terabyte size of the Wall Street bonuses and their ‘bailouts’ with moneypledged from you, my grand kids, sometime in the future.

Hope it isn’t too heavy, kids. In fact, I hope you’ve written it off as odious debt: after all, you didn’t borrow it.

But warnings seldom work on the blinkered and another, Even Greater Depression ’fell’ upon the land.

This isn’t really a warning either, just a hope that I was right on one thing: that the kids born from the Boomers worked it out and seceded from the greed that drove the debt-based economies; got into good food and good thinking, embraced tolerance and generally grew up to be what we wanted to be, free.

And that should have come about through the Internet.

Because freedom is just knowledge – knowing that when you start to lose weight for instance, it’s not diet it’s detox; it’s not things it’s values; it’s not tribal power, taxes and tribute, it’s submission to the power of the universe.

But to get there you have to be able so see through the hucksters and thieves who skim ‘unnoticeable’ micro portions of every piece of wealth created by our work, adding ‘interest’ – fake charges and lots more – on late payments pegged on Sunday when the banks are closed is an example, pulling even the tiniest feathers from the cooking goose even before the meat’s done.

And the world is changing faster then ever before – today The Boomer generation, mine, has discovered that it has left the next one, yours, with a really great inheritance : iPod iconoclasty stuck with one common OS.

Ain’t Competition wonderful!

Problem with misplaced trust, it bites you in the ass every time so we’ve learned to look over our shoulders – and now the state is telling you to use your iPods and do the same!

 And well you should, but for the right reasons: Being an American has always been very special, but when I look over my shoulder today, I see a whole bunch of foreign nationals who seem to be running half the country, people who serve in foreign armies, people who are patently spying on this country, using it for their own ends, taking billions of your tax money for themselves, ‘bailing out’ corrupt banks and stealing your houses and your work.

 Yesterday in Freedom of Speech Land talking about that was one area of ‘free speech’ that wasn’t allowed because those foreign national ‘dual citizens’ somehow made it so dangerous that you could lose all of your cred, your jobor career and in many European countries go to jail just for asking, “may I do an unbiased body count here, or have a look at the Red Cross records?”

Today if people bring up ‘Nazi’ or ‘Holocaust’ they’ve lost the argument, so you’re already doing a good job.

And I hope you techno-generationers hold on to this Internet thing with hands, feet and head: it really is all of you and your history, your global brain and you don’t want either a lobotomy or a dissection of the Corpus callosum performed because that will surely end any freedom of speech – or thought – left to you.

My Constitution ALLOWS me to believe – and say it out loud – that the Pope wears Prada or that Obama wasn’t born.

It’s up to you to work out the truth, not some foreign or domestic Thought Police:

Please read 1984, don’t just say ‘I’ve heard of it’.

The planet is being handed over to you and we think the wrong guys are in charge, largely because we didn’t ‘spy on our neighbors’.

Please look over your shoulders and accept all of your countrymen, right, left or in the middle. But just make sure that they are Americans first, second, third and fourth-of-July Yankee Doodle Freedom Fighters too.

Or foreign powers will take all your money again and next time your soul goes with it.

Forever.

Because you won’t have another generation to hand over to. So use those iPods!

Trust you are all well in your Brave New World.

Life is like a coin you flip:  Heads is freedom, tails is responsibility and the coin comes down equally on both sides.
