Scene set, two good high school football teams, both making adjustments from an earlier game played this season. Coin flip gives the receiving team the first opportunity to score, and yes they did, but that was the start, it was tied up at one point 14-14. 6 times an extra point or points were missed, so 12 more potential points were not scored, during the course of the game, bad offense?
Now you have a match up problem. After this game these two are 1-1 against each other this year, would you demand a rematch? If you were a TV station, would you offer a High School team a couple hundred G’s for a tie-breaker game? Would a school superientendent allow it or want it? Would it be legal per national rules? Do you think they would have ANY highlight film to promote it? Do you think Alabama or LSU could use either one of their offensive co-ordinators? How about both, one for the passing game, the other for the running game?
If you were Vegas, what would be the over-unders? What would be the line, they were within 6 points of each other after two games.
In High School, don’t the stars still play both ways, and how could they be so different on both sides of the ball? Do you think any defensive players are getting any recruiting looks?
Would you watch a High School football game like this? Of all the far out games you can imagine, and all the games ever played, none ever has been like this, ever? Lop sided wins are common, but this wasn’t a lop sided win, and the team that won had already been beaten by the same team handedly.

USC and Baylor this year lost after scoring over 50 and 60 pts. in a game, this one puts them to shame. The two games they played in scored an average of 120 pts and were both COMPETIVE, this game blew that ave to smitherines, and it was competitive. Combined they averaged nearly 4 points a minute, more than the top college hoop teams. Two teams, two different type teams, each winning one game, I’d demand a national rematch, would you? Are you a fan of the pass, the run?

Of the 14 offensive players in the skill positions that played, only 2 were seniors and 4 were sophomores! What do you think next years matchup will be like?
