Another Zombie Cannibal Attack - Is Demonic Activity Responsible?

Another ‘zombie’ cannibal attack has occurred in China where a drunken man ate a woman’s face off in a seemingly random attack. From the Daily Mail UK:

The recent terrifying spate of ‘cannibal attacks’ seems to have spread to China, as a drunk bus driver was caught on camera gnawing at a woman’s face in a horrific random attack.

The unfortunate woman will apparently require plastic surgery to repair the damage done by her crazed attacker.

According to local news reports, the driver, named Dong, had been drinking heavily during lunch with his friends before the outburst on Tuesday.

He then ran on to the road in the city of Wenzhou, in south-east China, and stood in front of the car being driven by a woman named Du, stopping her from moving.

Dong climbed on the car’s hood and started beating the vehicle while the panicked woman screamed for help.

When she left the car and tried to escape, the bus driver leaped on top of her and wrestled her to the ground.

It was then that Dong started biting Du’s face, leaving her covered in blood and weeping as passers-by tried to pull the attacker off his victim.

Witnesses said that the bus driver had gone ‘crazy’ and was successfully resisting attempts to subdue him.

The thing to note is that the man had been drinking alcohol heavily and that ’bath salts’ were not involved. These attacker “going crazy” may be a case of demonic possession.

A good case can be made for the possibility of demons being responsible for these human cannibals attacking and eating the flesh of others. The doorway to demon possession in many cases is the common denominator in the attacks, that the attackers are all under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The word Bible writers used to describe witchcraft and sorcery is the greek word “pharmakeia“. This word reveals the close tie between the occult and drug use. By altering the mind by way of drugs and alcohol, an individual opens himself up to the influence of demonic ‘spirits’.

One recent attack involved an intoxicated/high naked man attacking and biting his grandfather. Another incident of a man out of his mind threatening to eat police officers did involve ‘bath salts’ drugs. The “Miami cannibal” attack involved only marijuana according to toxicology reports.

Consider the naked man among the tombs with the demon Legion possessing him, crying out and cutting himself as described in Mark Chapter 5. We don’t know if drugs led to his possession, but we can read the story and recognize the One who delivered him from the demons that tortured him and were a plague upon that area of the world.
