(Before It's News)

California has voted to legalize weed and many people think it is a bad idea because the recreational use of canabis is one thing but will people be smoking pot, going to work, and driving on pubic roads … yes they already do and now it will increase so what are the pros and cons?

1. The sale of canabis will increase revenue to the State which is already suffering from budget problems due to a pension obligation shortfall in the billions, and a 23 billion dollar a year tab from illegal aliens using up public moneys for court costs, medical costs, jails, and other programs.

2. Canabis will become more available to users without a medical card, but the new weed which will be available at 7-11 will not be the same strains as the medical dispensaries. Just like tobacco, the new weed will probably be loaded with chemicals that increase the risk of cancer, so be warned.

3. With the increased use of canabis more and more people will suffer long term lung problems, and many will develope COPD after long term use. Best to use a vaporizer or eatables like cookies or candy bars.

4. There will still be laws on the books for driving under the influence, so many users who get pulled over and fail a basic test by the police will receive a DUI and this will be a huge problem to the youth who think it’s just a slap on the wrist.

5. Now the pros …
