Pole shift or Scalar Warfare: Something is interfering with bird and fish ability to tell up from down--Is it natural or man-made?

Are we in the middle of a massive magnetic, polar shift, or is someone testing a scalar warfare device?  It doesn’t matter if you are a wild-haired conspiracy theorist, or a meteorologist, you know that something is happening, something catastrophic and widespread.   Massive bird, bat, and fish kills have been reported from all over the world.  From Arizona, Louisiana, Maryland and Kentucky, to Canada, Germany and Japan, millions of mammals and fish have fallen from the sky, or are floating belly up in world oceans, lakes, rivers, streams and ponds. 

Bloggers from around the world continue to catalog millions of bird, fish and bat deaths worldwide. From the United States, to Brazil, Canada, Germany, New Zealand and Japan,  the massive bird/fish/bat kill continues to puzzle scientists, conspiracy theorists and people who live in the affected areas.

Everyone is asking why?  Why are various species from around the world dying off in such massive numbers?  And, what are the implications of these die offs to the environment and humanity?  Some say a pole shift, if and when it occurs, will take 5,000 years to complete.  During that time, massive changes in the earth’s weather, geology and biology will occur.

There are those who claim that  global warming is one of the results of this magnetic/axis shift. In the extreme, world enders say that the polar shift, particularly if it is generated by solar activity, such as the shift in the sun’s own orbit, will generate massive tectonic changes, possibly causing the oceans to shift. And of course wiping out most, if not all of humanity and living creatures on the world’s surface.

Earth’s magnetic poles appear to wander throughout time, and not just due to the continents drifting. “Polar wander” refers to it moving, while “true polar wander” refers to it moving relative to a fixed coordinate system that takes the continents’ movement into account. The field strength also is not constant with time, varying by location and by year. It also varies on much longer timescales, flipping over entirely (north becoming south and vice versa). The last time it flipped occurred approximately 780,000 years ago. (Evidence for this is found in the magnetic field of relatively fresh ocean crust, among other places.) SOURCE AND MORE

MSNBC notes the migration of the magnetic north pole, which shifts over time. 

For decades, the magnetic north pole has been migrating from Canadian Arctic territory toward Russia. That shift has accelerated in recent years, and current estimates suggest that the pole is moving at almost 40 miles a year. Maps from Natural Resources Canada chart the movement since 1831 and project the trend through 2050. Movements in the magnetic poles are caused by the motion of molten iron at Earth’s core, which serves as the planet’s magnetic dynamo. Here’s how NASA explains the process.

In 2001, some say a kind of time shift occurred, where the sun reversed it’s polarity:

A sort time ago (months) the Sun reversed it’s polarity and what used to be North is now South. [Note: this has yet to be validated] (Update 6/5/01 this has just been validated! See article here from Nasa) This reversal set the stage for the release of energy we saw as the largest Sun Flare in recorded history that formed a Vortex on the Sun. Energy from this vortex has been filtering into our energy fields in two different ways according to the Group. This began as a huge wave of energy and light particles that were sent off from the sun the moment it happened. Since that time the energy has been filtering in very slowly as reflected magnetic waves. Very few people feel this physically. Even today this energy is still entering and being absorbed by then Earth. We can still see evidence of this in our electronic equipment. Lightworker.com and PLANETLightworker.com both went down for several hours this last week and at the time of this writing the main NASA site is down. This energy, according to the Group, is being stored in the tectonic plates of the Earth. Tectonic plates are the plates that float on the molten core of the Earth. These plates take up the slack because the Earths core rotates faster than the Earths surface. (See article from Scientific American)

According to some, the Earth is a living entity, replete with safety valves which help the planet bleed off excess energy. The biological survival of the planet, they say, depends on the earthquake producers which allow the planet to deal with excess energy incrementally:

…the Ring of Fire is actually the lifeblood of our planet and creates the living environment that we humans need for biological survival. Much of this is accomplished beneath the sea. They say that the Ring of Fire is actually the expansion strip of the tectonic plates much like you would see expansion strips on a bridge or a sidewalk. (Sorry, the old contractor comes out once and a while) This takes up the slack for the natural expansion and contraction of the planet. SOURCE

Thus, are we in the middle of a magnetic shift/polar switch, which confuses sensitive species that depend on magnetic fields to orient themselves?  There are a lot of people out there who attribute the die offs to something which interferes with the animal’s ability to orient itself, in terms of direction, down and up:

Drum fish have rather large otoliths. If red wing blackbirds do as well then it would seem that something might have effected their ability to tell direction or may have even popped their heads and driven them mad or killed them. 

It’s not uncommon for a sonic boom or a sonar ping to kill animals with a sensitivity to such waves. Given that the bird and the fish deaths involved only one species and no others in the areas seem to have been effected (and the fact that they ruled out poison or disease) perhaps there was a large sub-sonic concussive blast that humans were unable to hear, that didn’t effect other animals as sensitive, and that created the condition for both the die-offs. 

Speculating on causes of such a wave I jump immediately to some deep earth movement or to some form of wave test by humans. But there may be other causes as well. Source

Using this line of argument, we can create a model, where magnetic flux, change, creates problems with an organism’s ability to tell up  from down–a major problem if you are a fish,  bird or bat. Note the Utricle and Saccule in the figure below, and the explanation of their functions.

The otolithic organs sense motion according to their orientation. The utricle is largely horizontal in the head, and largely registers accelerations acting in the horizontal plane of the head (called the axial plane by radiologists). The saccule is largely vertical, actually parasagittal, in the head, and registers accelerations in the vertical plane (called parasaggital or coronal plane).

The motion sensation from the otoliths is used for a large number of reflexes:

• otolith-ocular reflexes

  • l-nystagmus (linear nystagmus)

  • ocular counter-roll

  • off-vertical axis nystagmus (OVAN)

• otolith-body reflexes

  • righting reflex

Damage to the otoliths or their central connections can impair ocular and body stabilzation (Lempert et al, 1997). SOURCE

So, what is really going on? Is this die off the result of natural phenomenon which interferes with the animal’s ability to orient itself, such as the by-product of : solar energy, natural polar shift in progress, or geological energy  bleed off? Or is it something human designed: weapon, scalar warfare,  pollution spill, or experiment gone awry? Whatever it is, it is not limited to a single region.
