Adam Vs The Man

This is a sharp kid who Russian Television gave a contract to and he is sticking it in the eye of the traditional media.  In his few shows he has had substanitive debate and interviews with mass movement democratic organizations while also pulling off a great interview and discussion with Ron Paul among many other national political figures and organizations.

Adam Kokesh of “Adam Vs The Man” is at his best when he is slapping the face of the mainstream media with impunity and exposing the police state, corporate crime and central banking fraud.  Kokesh is insightful and says things that even Jon Stewart would refrain from for fear of exposing the hypocrisies and inconsistancies resulting from progressive liberalism while Kokesh still attacks big government neocons and faux conservatives.  Kokesh is an unabashed libertarian that I believe will eventually become an influential icon in a new genre of news media that challenges state authority and makes it justify the basis of and legitimacy for its power.  Kokesh absolutely crushes the GOP in its continued attempts to marginalize Ron Paul, who just happens to be Kokesh’s favorite politician.

During Kokesh’s recent arrest at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial for dancing with headphones on in a protest in support of individual liberty, he was slammed and choked by a police officer who ended up looking like a moronic authoritarian goon.  This left viewers to realize that many laws are there not to protect and safeguard the public, but instead to force compliance, obedience and subservience to the state.  Kokesh seeks to expose the falsehood that the unending wars being fought are for our freedoms.  After watching his show it is evident to any viewer that instead of war providing liberty it has led to a steady erosion of it.

“Adam Vs The Man” is different than the Daily Show in that Kokesh is not the polished comedian or even intellectual that is Jon Stewart, but he attacks both the Democrats and the Republicans and hence the warfare/welfare state from a libertarian perspective as opposed to only attacking the warfare state from the liberal perspective of Stewart.  What he lacks in comedic presentation he makes up for in sincerity, enthusiasm and insighfulness in questioning authority and exposing hypocrisy.  This is not to say by any means that Kokesh is not funny or intelligent.  He has much more on the ball than most of the politicians in Washington and would have no problem shredding a Sarah Palin should she or a politician like her ever appear on his show.  His show is far more relevent and meaningful than any on CNN or MSNBC, and his show compares very favorably with Fox’s  “Freedom Watch” with Judge Napolitano.  Any hacks seeking to get face time better come prepared as Kokesh has in innate ability to intelligently deconstruct red herring justifications and arguments.

Kokesh is the smartest kid in the classroom who is cool, likable and is having fun making a fool of unreasoned and unprincipled authority.  He is an anti-hero challenging the status quo and I believe is already striking fear in the hearts of the establishment media.  He will be in invaluable figure in the rise of an independant media and a forum from which  people can be introduced to people from the likes of Noam Chomsky, Jeremy Scahill, Glenn Greenwald to Ron Paul, Pat Buchanan and Lew Rockwell.  In other words, he is speaking to the people the mainstream media fears.  This is because each one represents substance as opposed to the tripe we have been fed by corporate media.  This show has been long in coming to fill its niche, and it fits that niche perfectly.

Some establishment media has already tried to take issue with the fact that his show is being aired on America’s RT (which stands for Russian Television).  It has been already deemed subversive and dangerous, which right there ought to tell you that he has been spot-on in identifying issues and providing analytic commentary.  Kokesh is an Iraq War veteran who tongue-in-cheek and in-your-face says, “I identify myself as a communist and Muslim because I can.”  He may claim to be these things, but his style is honest and unassuming.

Adam Kokesh’s shows have been archived on his website.  So, here is the link for your enjoyment and information:
