All over the Internet, sites or their users are censoring people’s voices. But Not here, right?

Sure you can make a comment, after becoming a registered user.  This seems to be the case everywhere I look.  Then once you get registered, you still might be blocked.  If your not blocked, your message may be removed by enough user ratings or flags.  Or you may find your message mysteriously hard to locate.  If you are not blocked or have your message removed, you may see your message get buried deeply beneath a series of messages that look connected.  We have all seen it, serial posters that copy and paste their message repeatedly.

It seem harder and harder to have a discussion on the internet these days.  With all the rules and trolls and just plain rudeness, sometimes it feels pointless.  It is so bizarre how quick some are to resort to nothing but insults when facing an opposing view.  What happened to making a pointor trying to counter someon else’s point?  Is it just too hard?  Is it that people are so attached to their point of view that they can’t handle being confronted with the possibility of being wrong?  Is being wrong so bad?  Is having a change of heart seen as a sign of weakness?  What about being able to step into another’s shoes.  This used to be a good quality, to be able to objectively imagine the other side position.  To understand the contrary view was seen as a way to better state your position.

On top of the censorship, it also seems more common to just let Facebook handle the everything.  In order to have a registration system withou the hassles, a facebook comments plugin is just used.  This is the worst of all if you ask me.  When commenting, particularly on conraversial subject matter, being able to be easily and anonomously contribute to the discussion keeps it real and interesting.  When you give in and sign in with your facebook, you are openly connecting your net identity to what you say.  In addition, the box to share in the newsfeed os checked by default!  If you don’t notice, then whatever you say is transmitted to your friends along with a link to the article you are reading.  I generally do not even bother to submit a comment when my facebook is required.  If you look at a comments section run by facebook, they are generally bland and have sparse participation.  All it took was one time for me to abandon facebook run comments.

Of all the places I would expect my comment to be censored, Before Its News was not even on that list.  But lately, it seems as though the comments do get censored.  Maybe it is just problems with the new system.  But I don’t seem to have any other problems.  And the comments issue seems arbitrary at times.  I held BIN in high regard for it’s apparent freedom.  Is that over, or was it all an illusion until you cross some invisible line?

Anyone else have issues with comments on this or other sites?  Please try to comment, if you can.

Sorry about the typos. Should have proofread. No way to edit it though as far as I know.

The Elite Globalist Exposed in Congress article seems to have the comments locked up. It is stuck at 16. I find it hard to believe that I am the only one being blocked there. It has had 10,000+ views! Here is a response to someone expressing disbelief in double income families with both making low wages. My comment will not post for some reason.

      Response:
You are just not associated with those people. 28% of all US households have income under $25,000. My example was more than this and more than the federal minimum wage. The federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. Of those 28% making under 25k, it could be because they are single parents, or only one parent can work. And believe it or not there really are families where both incomes are from minimum wage jobs or at least low wage jobs. Income disparity is an issue in the US. It is worse than it used to be.

There are many jobs out there that pay $9.00 an hour or less. Many in the food industry, many people working in retail like the mall, Janitors, personal caregivers, many cab drivers, many in construction, many agricultural workers, many preschool teachers, most gas station and parking attendants, many security guards, many hotel staff, many sales people. If you work at Walmart you most likely make under $9 an hour unless you are a manager, assistant manager, or pharmacist. Lube techs, crossing guards, many hospital employees, delivery drivers, etc. These are not just kids, many are trying to raise families on this kind of money.

I am not arguing that taxation is the answer though. To me, a better answer would come in the form or cooperative or worker owned companies. Here is a link to some good examples of this. Orbea manufactures high end bicycles. Their structure is completely voluntary. The founders of the company chose to be a co-op.
