Facebook Purges Pro-Gun Accounts
The following is a list of Facebook accounts operated by individuals in the alternative media that have been shut down by Facebook staff over the past 24 hours. Infowars writer Aaron Dykes and political dissident Brandon J. Raub have also had their accounts deleted. Raub was snatched by police and forcibly imprisoned in a psychiatric wardearlier this year for posting political content on Facebook. Infowars editor Kurt Nimmo also had his account suspended this morning.

This is an example of disinformation. I am personally aware of several of these accounts and some (not all) are exactly what they appear to be: “Inactive” for some time.
Jathryn Albrecht has bigger fish to fry, Jason Infowars never did much of anything, the same with several of the others listed.
Don’t buy into the whole “Everyone is at risk!” scenario.
To the author, before you post this stuff, I would recommend you take a look at the truth behind the story. Otherwise, you become part of the problem, sharing disinfo.

This story is mighty thin on proof. Interviews of the folks whose accounts were affected would have been great. Screenshots of their pro gun activity on facebook would have been nice too. Without proof it is just another opinion piece. I can only see two accounts above that were suspended. The rest are just inactive. Come on folks. When you post a story, step up and do the work to make it proper journalism and not just your opinion.

Hi – Once again, you people don’t know what you’re talking about. Facebook has not “shut down” anything. The accounts are temporarily frozen because *other users* have reported the page. It’s pretty much an automated thing.
I’ve had my account frozen a couple of times for disagreeing (politely) with extremists who use censorship while screaming about freedom of speech.
(Note to @1timeilovedtheusa: Get out of the USA, then. The sheer fact that you can pick that user name and not wind up in prison if proof that America works. If you hate America, leave.)
Face book is owned and run by Zionists who are colluding with other zionist owned operations to bring down America and get a ban on our guns or to shut down dissidents and mess with their accounts. I quit using facebook a while back when I found out that they are being monitored all the time by NSA AND CIA and probably mossad, since they all work together.
We can use other venues for socializing if needed, but now I am socializing in person within my commun ity and its what we all should be doing now. In preparation since they are close to bringing down the hammer before the hammer comes down on them. Its who can hammer who first.

Although I am pro-Constitution, therefore pro-2nd Amendment, therefore pro-gun, I think it was wrong to publish the list of gun owners and their addresses. This just makes the non-gun owners easy-pickins. It is their personal choice to own or not own firearms. Publishing the list just punishes them for their freedom of choice.

I hardly ever go to Facebook, finding it unseemly to post thoughts, occasions for thousands to read or look at. I haven’t even “friend-ed” close relatives, preferring to communicate individually (and privately) be e-mail.
I remember a time when we were all worried about big brother watching us. Little did we know, the Internet beame that very “big brother.” Facebook or not. Who doesn’t have an email? We all jumped in line to surf the world wide web.
I never liked FacistBook anyway. Never joined when I kept hearing horror “privacy” stories that they keep making it hard to keep anything private.
Constant changing of the “privacy” rules just kept making things worse.
Now I hear the suspend accounts they don’t agree with, like pro guns, pro-Christian, etc., but keep worse ones on like Nazism, homo faggots is just utter hypocrisy and tells me the devil controls this one and that’s the last straw to me.
I refuse to use facebook or linked in. Both are leftist sites. Besides they take up far to much of my valuable time.

That’s funny. I’m very pro 2nd amendment and have many pro gun posts on my facebook site along with numerous people that do as well. They haven’t threatened to delete me or them….or anything of that nature.
Some of the pro gun supporters are bad examples for their cause. As far as the ppl that are high up on FB they might do it to get grease from Obama Fool. I’m in the center on the issue. I see the need for guns but know some ppl can not handle them. As far as the right goes we have enemies of the free world within our boarders. As far as the left disarming puts us at risk. The right is making its case well, the left has the wrong stance. For starters guns are not the problem, the people with the finger on the trigger are. Why do ppl feel they need a gun? Why do ppl resort to violence? Those are the issues….. The left doesn’t give ppl a reason to disarm. If they crash the economy anymore we will need to be armed!
Message to FB: Some of the gun control advocates are rough around the edges. Gun control might be better left to local authorities seeing how we all have different problems. It might be that we have to drop pride and walk in the other guys shoes before we slam ppl. The events of the murdered children were hideous but we have to not be controlled by the action. As far as the guy that murdered fire fighters he should have been executed when he murdered his mother. We are made strong by our diversity and need to lose the ideology of simulating everyone into what we believe. “Arms” in this context were military arms, not the personal weapons of private individuals. The context of “depriving of the whole nation of arms” was the refusal of the British to conscript Indians into the British Army during the First World War. Gandhi was an extreme anti-militarist. The statement is odd coming out of him, but he used the circumstance for political purposes to advance the cause of home rule and independence.
