I think that there is a whole lot of unnecessary opinion and editorial in that timeline. It would have been a more objective unbiased read if it were not for all of the conjecture spread about and throughout the timeline. There is good info in it, but, it is decidedly slanted towards portraying Trayvon in a bad light, if not an obvious attempt at portraying him in the worst possible light.
Whether or not any or all of the account is true and accurate, Zimmerman really had no way of knowing what he was assuming, was true or accurate. Seeing that he was not a cop, and had no real world experience or training as a cop, his “profiling” of Martin was unqualified, and based on indeterminate criteria. Real psychological criminal profiling, is one thing, Zimmerman’s profiling, most likely based on racial stereotypes and to an extent, fear, is quite a different story…
I have looked at both sides/accounts of this issue, neither Martin nor Zimmerman are/were saintly individuals. As far as I can tell though, from what seems to be the truth of the matter, is there would not have been an incident, let alone a death and trial, if Zimmerman had followed theoriginal instructions of the police, (which were to not follow, approach, nor engage, but to wait for the Police to arrive), and not tracked and stalked Martin, and then approached and engaged Martin…Vigilante injustice
