I was in New Orleans a couple of years ago and saw mobs of black youth in the downtown mall during the middle of the day on a Tuesday and a Wednesday. This was a time when they should have been either at school or at work. (I am retired)
I thought then that this behavior was a recipe for trouble. I am now seeing this all over the country and it is trouble.
You do know that its still August and that many districts have not begun classes. Now, if that district HAS begun for the year then your statement is valid. If not, then said people weren’t doing anything wrong by being at the mall.
In fact around here many malls won’t allow teens in the mall during school hours.
It’s not uncommon for teens to hangout at malls, they have been since the 80s. It’s not a recipe for trouble for youths just black youths. It’s concerning you that you can see black youths around the country being together? WOW!
The problem is there is no penalty for breaking the law. When the penalty is bad enough they won’t do bad things. Burglars should get auto death penalty and murder too..in less than a week..not wait thirty years in prison.
