Sky pool connecting two building
In London will be build the first 25-meter sky pool with transparent bottom, which will connect two 10-floor buildings. The pool will be located on 35-meters high and the swiming people will be able to look at the pedestrians from very high. This is one of the most interesting and attractive real estates during the last years and will be unique all over the world.
The project is work of the designers Eckersley O`Callaghan, who previously worked on the design of Apple stores in various cities around the world. The pool will become part of the landscape of the residential complex Embassy Gardens, which will be one of the most luxury London real estates located near the center of the UK capital.
The designers should finish the facility until 2019, but its implementation will not be easy, since the pool will connect the two buildings with different bases. The pool would be made of ordinary glass. The water to be filtered in order to stay the walls of the pool cleaner on the inside. Outside pending pool will be cleaned regularly.
“In the wind they will be shaken in a different way, so the main problem is that we try to unite with a fragile construction two buildings that do not swing in sync”, commented engineer from Eckersley O`Callaghan.
