Harry Coumnas Claims to Have Decoded the Voynich manuscript

Stored in the rare-book library of Yale University is the Voynich manuscript – the world’s most mysterious medieval manuscript. It is written in a cramped, punctilious script & illustrated with beautiful drawings which many a times have been painted over crudely with different washes of color. For centuries, the message in the manuscript has baffled mathematicians, cryptographers, and linguists from all over the world. 

Recently, a young South African researcher named Harry Coumnas shocked everyone by claiming to have decoded the mysterious Voynich manuscript. While addressing the media during a press conference, he also stated that the antique book dealer who discovered this manuscript many centuries ago was his ancestor. 

When asked how he managed to decode the Voynich manuscript’s unintelligible writings & strange illustrations, Harry Coumnas said, “I come from a family of cryptographers. Both my father and grandfather spent their lives researching on this strange medieval script. During his last days, my father shared many decoding secrets which he believed would help me decode the Voynich manuscript. He was right. His secrets and techniques actually helped me crack the mystery of this manuscript.”
