The Art of Worrying

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Worry is probably the most useless emotions we as humans face. What is it really? How does it manifest? Why does it get us so frustrated and out of sync?

Worry is the process of anticipated responses. Usually negative ones. It’s the constant bickering of what if? What if I don’t get that job? What if she leaves me? Then relentless pondering of questions and the association of their negative values.

Worry is in essence useless. The energy it robs from us is not worth it. Worry does nothing to accent or improve whatever situation we face.

We feel by giving something attention and value we can control its outcome – which is true, but with worry  we always associate negative emotions and energy draining diatribes. This will only enhance whatever it is we are worried about in the first place and may even help that negativity manifest.

Worry is a waste of mental space and acuity. Its robs us of precious energy that we could expend in meditation, prayer, exercise and self-improvement. In fact these activities by themselves will speak volumes from eradicating worry from your mental recesses.

The next time something of concern hovers around your life – take concerted action and effort to do what you can. There can only be two outcomes. Either it happens or its does not.

Learn from the experience, structure your life to avoid such future events, be prepared, plan but don’t worry. If you get into this highly destructive addiction, it will slowly extract any positive energy you have built for yourself.
