Aries Full Moon Eclipse

Early in the morning of October 8, 2014 we will be blessed by a Full Moon eclipse highlighting the Libra/Aries axis of relationships. An eclipse is a revolutionary time where we can set new patterns, break old habits, make important changes & build the life we want to live. During the days leading up to & immediately following this powerful cosmic event the energies will be amplified & demand our attention.

The Moon will be in Aries, a fiery sign of self, independence & action. The Sun will be in Libra, a balancing sign of community, humanitarianism & thoughtfulness. As I wrote about here this alignment shifts our attention to the conflicts that can arise between what is good for me & what is good for you. When we look at the influence of this lunation our relationships, both with others as well as with ourselves, become the focus. Is your self talk positive & inspiring or belittling & defeatist? Do your friendships feel rewarding & reciprocal or are they something to be endured? Does your partner make you feel stronger or weaker? Are you being true to yourself & honoring your purpose?

If you are wanting to make changes to any of your relationships, now is the time to do it. The power of this eclipse can be harnessed to support you through great transformation in the way you love yourself, the way you interact with others & the way you live your life. Set aside time over these next few days to journal & develop your intentions, make time to meditate & voice your affirmations, create time for honoring your self & nurturing your relationships with others.
