FSA Rebels Declare War On Jihadist Rebels In Syria After Jihadis Assassinate Top FSA General

A top FSA General Kamal Hamami was having a strategy meeting with members of Al-Qaeda in Iraq and al-Sham when they killed him.  Hamami is one of the top 30 figures on the FSA’s Supreme Military Command.  FSA said today that the assassination is tantamount to a declaration of war, opening a 4th front in this bloody civil war.  

“We will not let them get away with it because they want to target us. We are going to wipe the floor with them.”, a senior FSA figure told Rueters.  The anti-Assad Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which monitors the conflict, said the FSA and the Islamic State have had violent exchanges in several areas of Syria over the past few weeks, showing growing antagonism between Assad’s foes. Last Friday an islamist rebel beheaded an FSA soldier for being a heretic, there have been many attacks just like this.  

The islamists have also clashed with kurdish rebels who havepretty much stayed to the sidelines in the conflict as much as they could.  The islamists have no fiends now in Syria, save the gulf states who fund and arm them and the west who flirts with them.  It is my hope that this development will lead to the demise of the islamists in Syria and a reconciliation can take place between the FSA and SAA and the Kurds where Syria remains united, reformed with autonomy for the kurds. 100,000+ people have died in this conflict to ‘free’ those very same people.  Does that make any sense to you?  Peace.
