I thought maybe one side in this conflict was good but like Syria, it would seem neither side really has the morale high ground as now both have committed grave crimes against their fellow countryman and woman. You can directly blame al-Sisi for this massacre. He called for anti-Morsi protests the same day Morsi supporters called for protests. He knew this would happen and said it would not lead to a civil war but that is exactly where its heading because its exactly like Syria n the beginning of its civil war. And in fact, the Sinai Peninsula has been in de-facto armed civil war since July 3rd when Morsi was arrested and the military staged a coup. Upwards of 20 Egyptian security forces and civilans have been killed in dozens of attacks by Egyptian jihadists in the peninsula. Thats a civil war.
