Powerful militias from the city of Misrata announced their support Thursday for Islamists in their battle against another armed group for control of the Libyan capital’s international airport.
The fighting erupted on Sunday when Islamist gunmen launched an attack on the airport, which has for the past three years been held by liberal, anti-Islamist fighters from Zintan, southwest of the capital.
Fighting in and around Tripoli International Airport has killed at least 30 people and has destroyed the airport.
I’ll be the first to say it, we should have left Ghadafi in power. It was a US coup from the start. We all know it so that’s why I say that. Now it looks as if Libya will now become another Islamist emirate and a huge civil war will break out… again. Thoughts?

The people in Libya are fighting back against the US puppets and trying to get them out. The western media makes them out to be terrorists when theyre just fighting to get their country back.
