Military To Report All Weapons At Home To Superiors

It was late yesterday when my child, who serves in the military, called to tell me that they had been told that as of a specific date it will be mandatory for all military personnel to report what weapons they have at home to their superiors.  I find it shocking that they are being told to do this, in fact I’m disgusted.  Why would the higher commands even let it get that far?  Read your constitution folks!!  You do not have to do this.  What more proof does one need.  If there are any other military out there reading this it would be good to hear if you’ve had the same instructions.

I should mention that this is directed at military personnel living OFF post.  Personnel living on post have had to report weapons they own for quite some time if not always.
