Why has the U.S. Army decided to buy Russian AK Mags & Ammo in mass quantities? Is the American Army planning on switching to Russian rifles? I think not.
First it was DHS seeking to buy 1.5 billion rounds of ammo last year:

Yea, that order was 2 years ago. Since then they’ve amended that order with an additional 80,000,000 rounds of 7.62 X 39 along with 200,000 AK-47 rifles…
And people think there is a difference between the USA and Russia. NOT!
At the end of WWII it was estimated that it would cost the lives of 250k American soldiers to invade the Island of Japan, Now project that forward to present day USA where the population represents the most heavenly armed force in human history. Any claim of military force being used on the population of the US is a joke.
There are currently 1 million American Military. If you assume that even 1/4 would be willing to raise arms against their fellow Americans, they would face over 7 million retired or former American Military plus any good ole boy ready for a fight. DHS/FEMA/TSA are poorly armed punks and fat targets. Relax.

Otraitor isn’t fooling anyone with their eyes open , he needs a supply of ammo for the East European countries he plans to employ for his gun snatch in this country. He knows American soldiers might balk at shooting their fellow citizens but the former Eastern Block soldiers won’t hesitate , they are accustomed to it .
They’re using your tax dollars to dry up the market so you can’t buy cheap AK mags or ammo. It’s that simple.

I’m not discounting it, but I don’t see all this listed in the NDAA 2013 OR 2014 budget combined.
These weapons must be registered with UNODA or the UN non proliferation list of all Nations who import and export arms from their Country.
I spent an hour adding up what was ordered against what was delivered and they just don’t jive.

The Countries that are buying arms at an alarming rate in comparison to their past purchace history are, Dubai, Finland, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia.
Were pretty much still par for the course besides a jump in light and heavy armored vehicles, I counted over 4, 000 when we usually YoY only order 1, 500-2000.

They bought these to make it impossible for me to buy them. To drive the prices out of the average gun owner’s range. Just like they did with most American made rounds.

This has been going on for the last few year, it serves two purposes. 1 it drys up the supply of ammunition here in the states, 2 we have been supplying Al-Qaida in Syria trying to over throw Assad along with our Al-Qaida financing Wahhabi Sunni buddies Saudi Arabia.
I use to buy my bullets at the local Wal-Marts. I have not been able to buy 22′s or 9mm’s in the last two years, lucky for me I did see the hand writing on the wall a few years before the shortages started.
