Martial Law Coming To Houston, TX?

Posted below is a photograph taken this morning near Houston, Texas.  I’m not sure what to make of this but as we are currently heading into the anniversary of 9/11 it does make you wonder: does the government at large know something we do not?  I personally snapped this image of a semi-truck hauling military grade vehicles nearby into a local Air Force Base less than a mile away from the location this photo was taken. I’m not sure how many more were being trucked in (and I did not attempt to wait and look any further) but it is a rare sight indeed.  Having lived in the area for decades I can say without a doubt this is the first time I’ve seen multiple large military grade vehicles being hauled in from North Texas.  They appeared either new or newly maintained and painted.

Anyone care to comment on what these particular types of (Hummer model) vehicles these are typically used for?  Was it simply a routine transport of military vehicles for training purposes?  Does this particular pattern of camoflauge indicate anything but a U.S. military training vehicle?  It should be noted that the base nearby (< ~ 0.3 miles is nearly inactive currently.)  

Also –  notice the ubiquitous cameras on each angle of the freeway.
