17 Year Old Director To Premiere Feature At The Spider House Village In Austin, TX

26, February 2015: ‘Spoilers The Movie,’ directed and produced by Connor Williams will premiere at the Spider House Village in Austin, Texas on Friday, March 13 at 7 pm. The film has already won awards at two of the three festivals it was accepted. Connor also plays one of the lead roles in the movie.

Connor has won a number of different awards including best actor, best movie and best sound among others in different 48 hr film fests. He also appears in a lead role in the movie ‘The UnMiracle’ with Kevin Sorbo and Stephen Baldwin, expected to be released by the end of the year. In addition, he is playing a small role in Jared Hess’s new comedy Don Verdean which just got purchased by Lions Gate. What sets Connor apart from the rest is the fact that the young talent has never taken any classes and training for acting.

Spoilers The Movie is seen as the new version of the Breakfast Club. The movie focuses on today’s teen problems such as Teacher and Student inappropriateness, social bullying, gang affiliation, racial profiling and belittling for religious beliefs.

Speaking to media, Connor said, “I want to make a difference in film making. I am on pre-production on my second feature and its going to be real and eye opening. I am making a movie regarding foster adoption. There are 500,000 kids in the foster system and people need to recognize that. I am showing how and why those kids end up there from sexual abuse to physical and mental abuse. What happens to them when they age out? All this will be answered in a very real and gritty movie.”

‘Spoilers The Movie’ had 1500 submissions for the teen leads. The teen cast came from New York, Chicago, Texas and California. They shot the film in 15 days over a 17 day period working 10-12 hours a day.

His delivery is so “present,” so conversational that he immediately brings the script to life and imbues the moment with realism.”

Speaking about ‘Spoilers the Movie,’ Bret Kofford, the writer of 12 Dog Days Till Christmas said, “It has an update John Hughe-ish feel. I was impressed. It has a delightfully devilish twist.”
