CLARE DALY AND BLEAT LIKE SHEEP

Clare Daly, an Irish politician went off on Obama the other day, compared him to a war criminal related to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the use of drones that kill civilian non combatants of which women and children are victims.

Didn’t mince words and said exactly what she believes-I respect that- doesn’t require agreement only appreciation for her willingness to do so.

I can’t help but draw a comparison to the V2 rockets Germany launched during WW2, their affect on civilian populations, and the use of drones now. Technologically inferior, but the drones of their day.

A great deal has changed between now and then on the one hand and on the other not much has.

A reality of change is that in itself it becomes a vehicle for change-a vehicle that must be directed rather than to be a random event or allowed to be manipulated by others.

To hear some people tell it America once roared like lions for liberty, now it seems as though they bleat like sheep for security. A paraphrase of a quote author unknown to me.

All you have to do is instill a little fear in people, tell them they are at risk, threatened, and the bleating will begin-they’ll go for the proverbial fried ice cream.

Doesn’t matter the cost, what they give up, just as long as they can be convinced it’s for their protection.

A favorite line of the military and government when confining the nations to reservations was to tell both sides it was in part for their protection.

We would be ” protected” from marauding white men and in turn whites would be protected from marauding red men.

Of course the end game was to make us white so we in turn could join the herd and bleat as well.

Admittedly a measure of success was achieved in this, as it’s difficult at times with some to tell where the red stops and the white begins- but I think they call themselves patriots and liberators.

Personally I don’t see a difference between gang bangers regardless of their nationality, and believe any people who have them in their midst would be better of without them.

Rapists, thieves, murderers, and con artists are all cut from the same cloth-share the same dysfunctionality inspite of the language they speak.

They bleat excuses and expect others to bleat along with them in unison, and some with the herd mentality will.

For too long the nations haven’t controlled the changes they’ve encountered, and it hasn’t made any difference if change was a matter of internal or external influences.

That made us vulnerable and ripe for the plucking.

The government has done it, corporations have done it, LPDOC has done it, and AIM has done it.
