What, No Comps?

Sisters, brothers, friends and supporters,

Greetings.  I hope you’re well.

Yes, I’m still here in my cage, fighting for my freedom.  The battle has reached a critical stage.  As has always been the case, I face tremendous odds and a government that has unlimited resources-despite the budget woes we keep hearing about, too.  That’s a big problem, right?

The solution rests with my legal team and their efforts to convince President Obama to grant me clemency.  Plans are underway to launch a massive campaign on my behalf-bigger and better than ever before. Events will be held to educate the public, outreach will occur with Members of Congress, media contacts will be made and meetings will be held with people and organizations that can influence President Obama in my favor.  Everything possible will be done to gain public support for my release.  I’m very excited by and optimistic about the work my team is doing.

I can actually remember as a kid Jehovah’s Witnesses coming around distributing the Watch Tower and assorted pamphlets asking if a donation could be made, and when told we could use a donation ourselves offering options like a bar of soap or something else they would find acceptable,

I’m kind of surprised LPDOC hasn’t hit on a similar approach-maybe suggesting Bitcoins or some form of script. Soap would be  good idea also to help Peltier clean up his act.

Yes folks this is the really big push-just like the one before it and the one before that-the carrot attached to this one is the possibility of getting to “meet” Peltier himself-maybe sit around the campfire and receive a few words of wisdom. Perhaps even a guided tour of the crime scene.

Indiegogo has become something of the go to now-Last Real Indians had some success raising funds through them and parlayed that into a breathless recitation of had it not been for them etc,etc, though the effort by others to do likewise for the “anniversary celebration” of WK2 rightfully fell flat on it’s ill conceived face.

Interesting that no “comps” are attached to this latest “fundraiser” as has kind of become the way it with other drives-no autographed prints, copy of the book, or even being added to the Xmas card list.

Apparently  with the growing public awareness of what Peltier and the myth are about finances are taking a well deserved hit.

As cited in the previous blogs, Butthead-Dumb as Dirt-Or Both?, and Inside The Belly of The Propganda Beast, quoting insider opinions about Peltier maybe those delusional enough to believe the myth are having a epiphany and finding a better use for their money.
