Video Available: Onondaga Nation Land Rights Action Goes International

On May 5, Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation (NOON) organized a public presentation for Central New Yorkers to hear from Onondaga Nation leaders and their legal counsel about the petition they filed in April to the Inter-American Human Rights Commission. Tadodaho Sid Hill, Clanmother Freida Jacques, General Counsel Joe Heath, Faithkeeper Oren Lyons and Chief Irving Powless, Jr. all spoke. You can watch the video here. The Two Row Wampum Renewal Campaign is a partnership between the Onondaga Nation and Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation (NOON), developing a broad alliance between the Haudenosaunee and their allies in New York and throughout the world. Our 2013 statewide advocacy and educational campaign seeks to achieve justice by polishing the chain of friendship established in the first treaty between the Haudenosaunee and Dutch immigrants.
