FABIAN SOCIALISM, GET READY - LIKE IT OR NOT, HERE IT COMES!

A Fabian Socialist is one who deceptively advocates a Marxist society; who seeks to achieve reform gradually, rather than through revolutionary means, by using the capitalistic system to fulfill their ideology of “Greed-ism“! For the Fabians‘, exploiting other ideologies is a useful tool!

The difference between the Marxist and the Fabian is an important difference. From Marx’s point of view, socialism was going to be the answer to the capitalist economic system. Marx divided the human race into two groups, the proletariat and the bourgeois. The bourgeois needed to be eliminated so that there could be peace on earth, and goodwill to all the socialists. In 1848 Marx and his followers from the Communist Manifesto looked upon private property as the origin of evil itself.

Fabians‘, instead of dividing the world between the two groups, decided that they were going to bring about socialism through a more peaceful process. Fabians‘ decided that they were not going to use the heavy hand. They were going to go slowly and surely. Marxist socialism is revolutionistic, whereas Fabianism is evolutionistic.

Fabianism came into existence around the year 1884, taking its name from Roman general Fabius Cunctator who preserved the Roman state by defeating Hannibal, chipping away at Hannibal’s patience and will to win by avoiding combat.

Though the Fabians‘ believe in the same radical goals as the Socialists and Communists, there is a difference in methods. Make no mistake they want world revolution but, unlike their comrades who believed in attaining power quickly by violence, they patiently work through changes in law, government, morality, economics, culture and education. They spread Socialism through newspapers, Parliament, school boards and by backing candidates of either party in elections, penetration and infiltration. Their chief tool, however, is through the indoctrination of young scholars, intellectuals referred to as “Parlor Bolsheviks.”

Fabians‘ creed remains radical: Its goal is the “reorganization of society” with the extinction of private property and industrial capital from individual and class ownership, redistributing them to the “community for the general benefit.”

Fabian George Bernard Shaw established the principle in 1920 when he said that under a Fabian future government:

“You would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you like it or not. If it were discovered that you have not character and industry, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner.” -

1889 Webbs‘ “Socialism in England” was circulated at Harvard and other schools in the U.S.  In 1905 they incorporated the Intercollegiate Socialist Society and by 1908 there were Fabian chapters at Harvard, Princeton, NYU, Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania. But Harvard was considered the “transmission belt” for socialism and specifically its Department of Economics. From these Ivy League campuses the seeds of socialism were planted in Washington during the early 1900′s at the multiplying bureaucracies staffed by Fabian indoctrinated theorists and professors.

Fabians‘ emerged in the first years of the twentieth century as great champions of social efficiency in the name of the evolutionary destiny of the race. The Fabian program spread quickly through the best colleges and universities under many different names, multiplying its de facto membership among young men and women blissfully unaware of their induction. They were only being modern. H.G. Wells called it “the open conspiracy”.

Fabian practitioners developed Hegelian principles which they co-taught alongside Morgan bankers and other important financial allies over the first half of the twentieth century. One insightful Hegelianism was that to push ideas efficiently it was necessary first to co-opt both political Left and political Right. Adversarial political competition, was a loser’s game. By infiltrating all major media; by continual low-intensity propaganda; by massive changes in group orientations (accomplished through principles developed in the psychological-warfare bureaus of the military); and with the ability, using government intelligence agents and press contacts, to induce a succession of crises, they accomplished that astonishing feat.

Many people on the world scene today are Fabian Socialists. Barack Obama, Tony Blair (former Prime Minister of Great Britain), Gordon Brown (former Prime Minister of Great Britain) are all Fabian Socialist.

In the United States House of Representatives there are four progressive, radical, socialistic organizations or caucuses whose members are all Fabian Socialist; The Progressive Democrats of America, the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the Congressional Black Caucus, and the Democratic Socialists of America.

April 11, 2012 Allen West stated: “I believe there is about 78 to 81 members of the Democratic Party that are members of the Communist Party.”

The view of historical development which fit best with Anglo/American tradition has been a conception of individual rights independent of any theory of reciprocal obligations to the State; the duty of leaders is to Society, not to Government, a crucial distinction in perfect harmony with the teachings of Reformation Christianity, which extended to all believers a conception of individual duty, individual responsibility, and a free will right to decide for oneself beyond any claims of states.

This has slowly been changed as those in government patiently push their socialist agenda down our throats. Unless We The People wake up and do something it will not be long before all property is owned by the government and our every move and thought will be dictated to us. Understand this, the “redistribution” of wealth does not apply equally to all people. While we at the bottom are told where to live; where to work; and provided meager compensation that keeps us teetering on the edge of poverty, those in power, at the top, will enjoy freedom of movement; freedom of thought; choice where they live and compensation which can be called anything but meager! Redistribution of wealth always has been and always will be at the expense and on the backs of the people!
