The real question is what have you got against an affordable health care system, renewable green energy and equality in human rights? Are you some kind of monster that you are against those things? If that is the general consensus of Americans then the destruction of America is guaranteed, because unaffordable health care, pollution from fossil fuels and lack of equality, are the very things destroying it.

Well,, I agree in principle, but BO has done an absolute rat’s nest of a job on it. Instead of looking around the world and finding a model that works, such as Malta, Scandinavia, or France, or even Canada , he instead created a system where it is now HARDER and often more expensive to get health care than it was before. The problem with the renewable energy investments, as I understand it, was that BO (or some smartass in his government) looked around for a “good deal”, which they found , real cheapo, because apparently investors had been droping it like a seriously hot potato. Never occurred to these gov’t types to investigate why (!). And the “Gay rights” thing? Sure OK, leave em alone. If they want to marry nobody should have the right to stop them,, and they should have the same legal rights as any other civil mariage in the US. OK, this is where I disagree with these ultra right wingers, I mean, heck, even the Pope agrees with my position. Where I agree, though, is that no bloody way should a pastor of a conservative church be legally forced to offivcciate a marriage in his church that he, and the congregation is morally opposed to.. i.e. one that contradicts (as he understands it) scripture.There’s plenty of Anglican pastors that WILL do it…, and it in no way prevents them from actually getting married, anyways.

Let us all agree, when speaking about Obama, or writing stories about Obama, or reporting things Obama does, let us include the word PARANOID in front of his name. Let us put the proper word which psychologists all agree Obama suffers from before his name for all the world to see. Let the whole world see what Obama’s loyal servants think of their king.

It isn’t going to make any difference if everyone has health care and renewable energy if people all over (secretly) want to kill each other. Ex. Charleston. No love=no functioning business, government, educational facilities. Not just passion…love. Often a reader might find a Bible quote as an answer to the question of whether or not Obama or any other leader is really trying to help us and defend us from our enemy.
The truth of the matter is -no leader is going to care more for his constituents than for his own family. Frankly, I don’t think most politicians really care about us at all. They care about the money. They want to send junior to Harvard. They want a guarantee that their children will never have to struggle like they did.
You as a lobbyist flash green in front of their (congressional) eyes and they will vote for whatever it is you want them to. They want money, they want security, they want power and influence. It is infatuating.
Hopelessly naïve to think otherwise. And dangerous. The question is-how far do we let our so called representatives go? Shall they be allowed to have oligarchy? Maybe they want a nice monopoly over our thought life by feeding us a line? Why wouldn’t they? That is the question? Because their motives are white as the freshly driven snow…I don’t think so.
