I watched the video offered but have to disagree with the presenter… Personally, I think the movie was created for entertainment purposes and doesn’t need any further decoding than that… A standard plot of good vs. evil without attachment to the Christian Bible or what we may face in reality, of this world… Any of the Star Wars movies I have seen was always interpreted as science fiction fantasy and nothing more…
The presenter made references to the Force described in the series of movies… As if the Force only represents the Spirit World… “Those who utilize this Force for either good or evil purposes are really indoctrinating us to be more accepting of witchcraft… Even the Jedi (good guys) are also evil for using witchcraft.”… I think the presenter should look more closely at what Jesus did during his time on our Earth… Jesus demonstrated many miracles that we would not conveniently call witchcraft… He magically manipulated matter and made miraculous transformations… He fed the multitudes… He healed the sick… He raised the dead… He walked on water… He turned water into wine… He forgave the sinners and offered them a place in paradise… He filled his disciples with the spirit of the Holy Ghost… He declared that all the he could do, we can do also… And even greater things…
Here is the point I am trying to make clear… If the presenter is a Christian and if he believes in his bible then he also knows that Jesus was the living example for all the rest of us to follow… We should strive for that… What would Jesus do??? He would use the Force to do good works… We would not call it witchcraft when we’re too busy calling it a miracle… May the Force be with you but do not turn to the dark side…
