The Establishment has been Admitting to Previously Condemned Accusations

The saying, ‘jet fuel can’t melt steel beams’, spread faster than a forest fire, yet many neglected to investigate this message. Some scoffed at this idea, yet some truly believed it. The answer is in a gray area between this spectrum of reactions. It is known that jet fuel can damage the structural integrity of steel beams (Eager Musso).

This is just a small example of misunderstood information that has spread in order to discredit the ones who believe in such wild claims. The establishment has been using this ideal to ridicule our community and to establish the term  ‘Conspiracy Theorist’ of which comes across with a negative connotation more often than not. The FBI developed Cointelpro in order to penetrate communities, like our own, to effectively discredit dissenters. (kohls) They picked the tin-foilers and flat earthers to attack our image. They never responded to any of our legitimate questions, constantly dodging and using strawman tactics to avoid these important matters.

Due to the major distraction of this year’s election, they have been quietly confirming our paranoid suspicions. Let us start with the most glaring ‘conspiracy theory’ that has evolved before our eyes. The police state – a totalitarian state controlled by a political police force that secretly supervises the citizens’ activities –  has fully come to fruition in that very definition. Police departments now have the resources to read texts, emails and metadata in order to surveille the public, and it has absolutely nothing to do with terrorism (syrmopoulos). The post 9/11 hysteria has settled, and the NSA has revealed its true target; United States Citizens. Even Facebook has this ability; go ahead, hold your phone up to a spanish video on Youtube and wait for the Rosetta Stone ads to pop up.

However, the police state could not have been born without the danger of illegal substances. Before a staggering rise in African American, protester and hippy arrest statistics the Nixon Administration declared an all out war on drugs; using the police as their soldiers. “Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did” Says John Ehrlichman, who served as domestic policy chief for president Nixon in 1971 (Lopez). The CIA even sparked income to fund separate U.S. affairs in 1986 with its involvement in the Contra cocaine trafficking, selling cocaine via black communities in Los Angeles (Delaval). This eventually created a boom in crime, trickling down to the private prison industry which now incarcerates 25% of the world’s population. Today a portion of the profits, 45 million, is used to lobby politicians for a return of 5.1 billion from one immigrant detention center alone (Shen).  {Could not locate source for lobby to profit ratio for drug war} Imagine what they invest in lobbying efforts.

With millions of people experimenting with illegal substances, the CIA decided to experiment as well. This (http://www.wanttoknow.info/mind_control/foia_mind_control/190691_assassins_programmed_mind_control) is a document released in 1954, detailing one of the CIA’s mind control tests under Project MK Ultra. Agents often feared being dosed with LSD unknowingly, it was a legitimate concern for them. A biological warfare expert by the name of Dr. Sydney Gottlieb was a victim of this project as he was dosed unknowingly and subsequently committed suicide due to a bad trip in 1953 (Dowling, Knightly). I understand, this is a far out claim, however I urge you the reader to validate my sources linked below. One would think this would be widely known, due to the controversial aspect of this testing, however it has received little media attention.

The media plays a tremendous role in our society, as journalism used to shed light on the operations of institutions and societies. This ‘watchdog’ status has dwindled and the media has taken on the same agendas as the very institutions they once challenged. Six media giants have consolidated 90 percent of all media you absorb each day, yet they all seem to cover the same stories with slightly different biases. This is used to give the public an illusion of choice, yet there is not much difference between media outlets. This was intentional,

Conspiracy theorists are participants thus making us a domestic enemy. Without the opposition of the media, secret societies have flourished. John F Kennedy has articulately warned us of the dangers of our current situation on April 27, 1961{include link to audio of speech in JFKarchives}. “The very word secrecy is repugnant in a free and open society” -JFK

America used to be the land of the free and the home of the brave, however secrecy has undermined our constitutional beliefs. It creates a shadow in which our government now operates. The average citizen has become desensitized to our manipulated media and indifferent to the official narrative the establishment presents. Politics have become background noise to our football, netflix and cell phones “Action expresses priorities” -Gandhi.

With our attention shifted, and an acceptance to shadow government we have lost our credibility in important political matters. We’ve become unintentionally distant to our previously free thinking society. Our voices have also been stifled due to inaccurate information and speculation. Wild claims of shapeshifters and reptilian politicians made by a few in our community have tainted our true purpose, free thinking. Just as corporations ruling the mainstream media has tainted their true purpose; investigative journalism and accountability. 
This is a call to our readers to be well informed, and a call to our media to be accountable. “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it” -George Santayana.

If we can’t clearly understand our past and present state, we are condemned to manipulation. This is why truth and accountability must be valued above all aspects of our society. The standard of honest reporting must be restored, not only in the mainstream media, but in the ‘conspiracy theory’ community as well. If our voices are to be heard and changes are to be made, we must hold ourselves accountable as well. So let us stop the ‘9/11 can’t melt steel beams’ rhetoric. Every single one of us is looking for one thing; Truth.
