The whole US already IS one giant FEMA camp. The amount of heinous and brutal legislation that Americans have to live under, plus the fact that they can’t leave amounts to nothing more than a prison.
The economic situation where 40% of the population is on some kind of government assistance, sky-high unemployment, and a low-to-nonexistent savings rate means that most people can’t even afford a plane ticket out of there. Even if they did, most don’t have passports and aren’t fluent in a good foreign language (like German or Russian). I’m not even mentioning having connections, bank accounts, and assets out of the country or the means to get established elsewhere.
The first step should be to just get an American passport. They’re valid for 10 years. If you can, get another one while you’re at it. If you’re let’s say a Tramtarian-American, go to the Tramtarian embassy or consulate and ask them if you qualify. If you don’t qualify, file a legal motion for an exception to be made in the pertinent legislation. If that doesn’t work, then start bribing them. That IS the way things work in a lot of countries.

There would be NOTHING we as citizens could do to stop them so I say again WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR?
