Summary: The unique timing of papal visits at the end of the jubilee cycles marks the end of 6,000 years when “God is not slack…the day of the Lord will come.” 2 Peter 3:8-10. That’s a reference to the end-times, says Dr. Richard Ruhling, author on Bible prophecy, who explains the jubilee timeline with additional signs of Globalism (election issue), and rabbinic expectancy for the Messiah.
Jubilee: The 70-week prophecy of Daniel 9 (70 x 7 = 490) spanned 10 jubilees. Jubilees came every 49 years, because the 50th year (Leviticus 25) was also the first year of the next ‘week’ of years.
Daniel’s prophecy began with a decree by Artaxerxes in 457 BC and spanned 490 year to 34 AD. If we add 40 more jubilees (40 x 49) we come to the 50th jubilee—the jubilee of jubilees in 1994-95 when Pope John Paul was in the United Nations on the Day of Atonement.
Then a 20-year gap and Pope Francis also went to the UN and ALSO on the Day of Atonement, the same date that jubilee was to be proclaimed in Leviticus 25:8-10, but why the 20-year gap?
The 4th Commandment says God gives us six days to do all our work and Peter says 1,000 years are as a day. He warns us not to ignore this, implying that end-times will come without delay (Greek meaning in the text, see summary above).
If we put the jubilees into 1,000 years, we find that 490 years (10 jubilees) + 490 years = 980 years with 20 years left over—they are signaled by the papal visits at the end of those jubilees!
The papal visits at the end of the jubilees also validates the starting point of Daniel 9 that pointed to the Messiah in 69th week. 69 x 7 = 483 years from Artaxerxes’ decree in 457 BC identifies Y’shua as the Messiah, anointed at his baptism in 27 AD, but cut off in the midst of the week, 31 AD as foretold in Daniel 9.
The 50 jubilee cycles ended in 1994-95. Since then, we have three Sabbatical cycles, (3 x 7 = 21) with the Sabbatical year as 2015-16 and we may expect the last week of seven years to begin in 2017 after this papal “Year of Mercy/Jubilee” ends in December.
Globalism: The Vatican is pushing global government since World War II when Hitler lost World War II and the Vatican had a concordat with him to make the world Catholic if he won. (Google) Their new strategy for global supremacy is the United Nations with the pope in control. This is the imagery seen in Revelation 17 where a woman rides a beast—beasts representing governments in Bible prophecy. The clues that fit Rome are unmistakable, says Ruhling.
Globalism is an important issue in this presidential election with one candidate favoring this nation and its sovereignty, its borders, its Constitution that made America great for 200 years but undercut by the weak policies promoted by the elite and banksters who hope to profit from a UN New World Order. UN peace-keeping forces now in the US (Google) will not hesitate to shoot citizens protesting constitutional rights. Another candidate wants no borders, big gov and ‘equal rights’ for all except those in the womb.
“Globalism is not a biblical concept,” says pastor Carl Gallups. Gallups cites the Tower of Babel as evidence that God dispersed those seeking world leadership, but we see them seeking it now.
Messiah: Leading rabbis in Israel see “unmistakable signs of the coming of the Messiah.” This includes Christians that will become a source of Torah learning as Messianic believers rediscover the source of their beliefs in Scripture.
The imagery of two sticks becoming one in Ezekiel 37 supports the idea that Christians who accept the law of Moses (referenced also in the last chapter of the Old Testament, Malachi 4) and Jews who accept the Messiah as compatible when the house of Israel and the house of Judah are united.
History note: Solomon’s son was going to tax everyone heavily, so 10 tribes split to form the northern kingdom or house of Israel that went into apostasy and were scattered among the nations. They inter-married with Christians and fled the papal oppression to the New World. Christian America, in a sense, could represent millions of the house of Israel that will return as foretold the prophecy of Jeremiah 31.
As one Messianic rabbi reflected on secular Israel with 90% uninterested in the biblical roots, he said “God is going to clean both houses before He puts them together.” Passover is the Jewish time for judgment in Exodus 12:12. For reasons beyond the scope of this article, Ruhling believes “the day of the Lord” (signaled as explained) will include destruction of Jerusalem then as foretold in Zechariah 14. If this occurs next spring, it’s a warning for judgment on the US, says Ruhling.
