The Emperor has No Clothes

Once upon a time in the year of our Lord two-thousand and eight, a young junior senator arrived on the Washington scene. Thinking that this was the time for a black man to become emperor of the United States, he decided to challenge the heir apparent – a white woman who by all polls indicated that she was the sure winner to become the next emperor. Through chicanery of a nutty organization called ACORN, support of multimillions of dollars of funding from a puppeteer named Soros, charisma, oratorical skills, lying to the population, luck, and hard work, the junior senator miraculously prevailed in the primary contest and became a sure winner for the general contest against an old, decrepit war hero. The new emperor mesmerized the lemmings, sheeple, and other such disciples that flocked around him as electrons migrate to positrons.

All such followers believed he would provide the hope and change they so desperately felt the country needed. They looked up at him as “the anointed one,” the returning messiah, the president of the world, and the one who was going to provide everything they needed – gas, food, rent, clothing, etc. They would receive free medical services, free college educations, and stimulation in the form of dollars. They would not have to work any longer! Yes, they saw him as a modern-day Robbing Hood who would rob the rich and give the spoils to the poor. They worshiped the man. The new emperor knew he was invincible and could do everything he so desired with all of his sheeple. Therefore, he started from the get-go fundamentally to transform the kingdom from a free-market, capitalistic country to a Marxist-socialistic nanny state so that all would be indebted to and subservient to him, the emperor, forever. He felt that if he provided everything his subjects needed, they would forever be grateful to him and remain as loyal supporters and voters. Hence, he got the currency printing presses to run 24/7 to provide the trillions of dollars needed to buy the loyalty of his subjects.

However, one-day, the loyal opposition devised a holographic-stealth process that made invisible the emperor’s aura. Yikes! The emperor had no clothes! Hence, whenever he gave another of his boring, prepackaged speeches, he asked all of his handlers, staff, and czars, “How did I do?” to which they replied, “You did wonderfully, dear emperor.” “You knocked them dead.” “You did so well, everyone loves you profusely.” “You are the best thing since sliced bread.” All of the pre-staged town-hall meetings went so well with crowds of endearing supporters slobbering over his every word. Therefore, as the days and weeks went by, no matter how badly he actually did, or how badly the polls looked, his minions kept telling him that he was doing wonderfully and everybody loved and respected him. His loyal political spinners including Robert (his press secretary) had to go out and spin unbelievable tales just to keep his subjects continually looking at him with lady gaga eyes.

However, as the months went by, the chinks in his aura armor started to show his true “hidden agenda.” Many of his staunch supporters – independents, senior citizens, Jewish folks, and middle-class supporters – who had voted for him started to see the changes that were occurring and thought, “That’s not the kind of change we were expecting. I was hoping for something different.” Abe Lincoln once said, “You can fool all of the people some of the time, some of the [sheeple] all of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.” The people had observed all of the minions that were surrounding him in the emperor’s castle in Washington, D.C., and found that many of them had very questionable backgrounds and past records. Therefore, the people started asking questions at tea parties and town-hall meetings held by his centurions. They were mad as Hades and yelled that they would not take it any longer.

Then, the emperor and his centurions made a strategic, fatal error by “stupidly” labeling all of those grassroots, silent majority, sleeping giant folks as “silly” tea baggers, mobsters, Astroturf, un-American, unpatriotic, evil-mongers, political terrorists, swastika bearers, brown shirts, right-wing extremists, unrepresentative, right-wing loons, racists, right-wing domestic terrorists, Talibani, and many other disgusting terms that only left-wing extremist liberal democrats, secular progressives, and Marxist-socialists would use. Hence, the grassroots, silent majority, sleeping giant folks started to boil. The natives became super restless.

The lame-stream, elite, fringe media/press have been “in the tank” with the emperor and wrote only glowing reports of the emperor and of his meager accomplishments to date. Press reports have been exaggerated and spun-up to keep the sheeple and emperor continually believing that “all is well” in the kingdom. They called anyone who opposed the emperor as racists, not realizing their opposition had nothing to do with skin color but everything to do with the accelerated grab for power and control over the kingdom’s populace. The wiser majority of the population is waking up and beginning to question why changes are occurring at such warp speed without any study or debate.

Therefore, the emperor stood at the January 2010 State of the Union Message to Congress with no clothes on. It was an empty, invisible suit. The State of the Union Message sounded beautiful with all kinds of platitudes, untruths, half-truths, disinformation, accusations, and smoke and mirrors. Whatever accomplishments the emperor talked about, he embellished to appear monumental. One of the loyal opposition in the audience yells out, “You speak with forked tongue!” to which the emperor retorted, “When you come to a fork in the tongue, take it!” The crowd on the right cheered and clapped for minutes on end. After presenting his message, everyone he shook hands with remarked what a wonderful set of birthday threads he was wearing. The emperor left the hall feeling that he was a wonderful man – a man of the people. What he did not realize is that he looked like a fool with his pants on the ground.

The next day, the slobbering media/press wrote about the wonderfully eloquent oration that the emperor gave by following his teleprompter to the T. All of his sheeple told him how great he was and what wonderful threads he had. A few months later at the November 2, 2010, elections, Dunce Harry Reid, Queen Pelosi, and many others of the centurions were surprisingly (to them, that is) swept out of office. The “powers that be” lost control of both houses of Congress. The emperor remained a lame duck for the following two years. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, eats like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck. Analogously, if it looks like a socialist, acts like a socialist, talks like a socialist, and associates with a flock of other socialists, then, by golly, it is a socialist! Moreover, it is not a matter of what is … is as Court Jester Bill Clintonian thinks.

For all of his great accomplishments, the emperor was awarded the Nobel Peach Prize (Yes, it is Peach, not Peace) by the far-left-wing Norwegian Nobel Committee. Upon receiving the award, which was a bushel basketful of Georgia peaches, the emperor grabbed a delicious peach and bit into it. The juicy peach squirted on him; however, he did not get any of the sticky juice on his threads because the emperor had no clothes on! [Thanks to Gary Waits for adding this idea.]

So, the tale of “The Emperor has No Clothes” is of a man with such tremendous potential to become the greatest emperor the country ever had was squandered by attempting to transform the country that We the People, love so much into an unrecognizable society of corruption, dependence, socialized medicine, race bating, loss of freedoms and free agency, control, and zombie-hood. After the emperor passed away, his tombstone read, “The man who tried to transform the world into his idea of a utopian society but failed miserably because of the awakening of the sleeping giant.” Everyone lived happily ever after in a free and open society that believes in upholding the Bill of Rights and Constitution of the United States and in defending the country and people from all enemies foreign and domestic. The End.

The Turning Point

Newsmax.com(2009) reported that the public knows Katie Couric best for her unflattering interview with Sarah Palin. However, her nightly news broadcast on Monday night, November 23, 2009, may be an indicator that the big liberal media are now turning their guns on Obama. Couric said on the CBS Evening News that many Americans are growing “disenchanted” with Obama and openly question his credibility. “Is the honeymoon over?” anchor Couric asked at the beginning of her correspondent’s report. “Although President Obama has been in office less than a year, many Americans are growing disenchanted with his handling of the enormous problems he and the country are facing, from healthcare to unemployment to Afghanistan. “His poll numbers are sliding, and at least one poll shows his job approval rating has fallen, for the first time, below 50 percent.”

Newsmax.com(2009) further reported that Correspondent Chris Reid chimed in, “The president is getting battered on everything from the economy to foreign policy. Some polls show [that] Americans are increasingly questioning his credibility.” The report asserted that while Obama talks about dealing with unemployment, which is around 10 percent and expected to rise, he has developed “no new ideas” for dealing with the problem. CBS also cited a poll showing that only 14 percent of Americans believe Obama’s claim that healthcare reform won’t add to the budget deficit, and only 7 percent believe that the stimulus had created any jobs at all. The report also criticized the president for being “indecisive” on Afghanistan and for returning from his recent Asian trip “with little to show for it.” An expert described his trip as the “amateur hour” as he did not line up agreements with foreign countries before venturing abroad.

A Tidal Wave is Brewing

Henry Lamb (2009), chairman of Sovereignty International and founder of the Environmental Conservation Organization (ECO) and Freedom21, Inc., wrote in GOPUSA that Rep. John Shadegg has been trying to get a bill enacted for 15 years that would simply require legislators to cite the constitutional authority for any legislation that is proposed. Shadegg calls his bill the Enumerated Powers Act (HR450). It now has 52 co-sponsors, but there is very little chance that it will ever get to the floor for a vote. Why? It simply is because the Democrats in Congress will not allow it.

Lamb (2009) further wrote that this bill would not be necessary if the Democrats would simply follow their own rules. House Rule XIII (3)(d)(1) requires “Each report of a committee on a public bill or public joint resolution shall contain the following: A statement citing the specific powers granted to Congress in the Constitution to enact the law proposed by the bill or joint resolution.” That’s right. The rules of procedure in the House of Representatives already require that every bill or resolution cite the constitutional authority for the proposed legislation. However, they routinely ignore this rule. Why? Because Democrats control the Rules Committee and the entire House of Representatives, and they routinely “waive” or “suspend” this rule. Remember when Nancy Pelosi stood on her pedestal proclaiming, “This leadership team will create the most honest, most open, and most ethical Congress in history” (November 16, 2006)? Ignoring a House rule is a minor offense as compared to the corruption that Ms. Pelosi readily accepts when it affects her Democratic colleagues.

Lamb (2009) went on to state that it is pure corruption to deliberately give the appearance of high ethical standards, and then completely refuse to apply those standards. What we need is a tidal wave (or tsunami) to wash over Washington to clean out every politician—regardless of party affiliation—who seeks personal power over constitutional compliance or personal profit over public accountability. Tidal waves (tsunamis) often follow earthquakes. And earthquakes often follow ground tremors. Social scientists have recorded seismic tremors in cities across the nation. In nearly every city where a Democrat had the courage to hold a town-hall meeting, the earth rumbled.

Additionally, Lamb (2009) wrote that all across the land, both citizens and organizations are preparing for a tsunami. They are identifying congressmen who arrogantly refuse to answer their questions. They are making notes of the votes cast by congressmen who want government to take over health care, energy, and the rest of the market place. They are putting targets on the backs of those elected officials who vote to increase taxes and blindly spend uncountable billions. While Democrats pretended to look the other way on September 12, 2009, more than a million people politely paraded through Washington, D.C. These people will take their families, friends, and neighbors to the polls next November 2, 2010. These people comprise the tsunami that can and will clean up the corruption in D.C. These people vote.

What Can We Do?

Say whatever you may about Glenn Beck. However, you’ve got to admit that the three principals he advocates should be accepted and applied by every U.S. citizen—whether you are conservative, liberal, independent, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or non-partisan. The Three Principals that Glenn Beck advocates are as follows (Mallory, 2009):

1. Question with boldness
2. Hold onto the truth
3. Speak without fear 

Regardless of your political beliefs, these Principles are universal. They are words to emulate because they speak directly of our fundamental right of freedom of speech. Do as Glenn Beck regarding his Three Principles. However, most of all – Be vigilant!

How May I Help?

Someone asked how he could help to further the cause of what we are attempting to do. You can help the cause by doing the following:

1. Send letters to the White House, Senators, Representatives, etc.
2. Make telephone calls to the White House, Senators, Representatives, etc.
3. Participate in tea parties, town-hall meetings, and other such gatherings.
4. Forward all emails that promotes conservatism to your email list of friends, family, and other acquaintances.
5. Speak up whenever you can to promote conservatism (notice I’m not saying Republicanism).
6. Vote!
7. Encourage all friends, family, neighbors, et al., to vote during the 2010 and 2012 elections.
8. Prepare books, white papers, articles, and blog posts and get them published and/or distributed to everyone you know.
9. Maintain the momentum to defeat all incumbents and replace them with politicians who will truly represent the people.
10. Be a loyal American in all thoughts, deeds, and words (both spoken and written).
11. Volunteer and work as a poll worker.
12. Volunteer and work on campaigns to get good people elected.
13. Contribute your time, energy, and money to save our Constitution (which currently hangs by a thread) and to protect the United States of America from all enemies foreign and domestic (mainly domestic, i.e., “the enemy within” or traitors).

That’s a starter on what you can do to help the cause. I am doing everything on my own, not acting on pressure from anyone in the Republican Party or any other organization. Our country is in grave danger from becoming a socialist country overnight. When and if a major crisis occurs within the borders of the United States, “the anointed one” will declare martial law and will cease control of our country as a tinhorn dictator. We must not let that happen. Get involved and do something. Thanks for your concern and help!
