Freeman has just as much right to express his feelings, opinions as anyone else…why should that be cause for boycotting him. IMO he is one of the best actors in America and I for one don’t give a damn what his skin color is, what race he is–he’s a human being.
Who listens to actors? They are paid performers who don’t even know who they really are. They change their names, change their backgrounds, and do three different movies every year. Their personal lives are just as screwed up as the characters they play. NOBODY TAKES YOU SERIOUSLY FREEMAN – get over yourself.
He’s an actor, for God’s sake! That’s right next to the lowest! What else can he do in life but pretend? He lives in reel time, not reality! And now, he’s reading his lines for his next script. Just don’t take this guy seriously. He’s pretending. He’s not even sure of who he is. But he can talk a convincing story. That comes from acting school. He’s got his new mask on and he is a different persona.
