Obama Approval Rating Opinion Poll Says He Would Likely Lose In 2012 Presidential Election

Washington, DC – President Barack Obama Approval Rating may be slipping.  Obama may not want to look to closely at the latest polls matching him up with any nameless Republican Candidate.  The latest Obama Opinion Poll shows he would most likely lose an election if held today due to the statistical tie. 

Though he was favored in the Poll 44% to 42% the key difference is what independents stated in their response:

But among independent voters, 45 percent would back a Republican and only 31 percent would favor the president. Twenty-four percent of independents are not sure if they would vote for Obama or a Republican candidate.

While independents seem to be tempted with the idea of supporting a Republican over Obama, there is little agreement on which of the many potential candidates should be the GOP nominee.

Clearly the same dynamic that propelled Scott Brown tot victory would most likely be in play against Obama – Independent voters breaking strongly to the Republican Candidate.
